Well, it’s that time of the year again where I make a Merry Christmas post, or to be more politically correct a “Happy Holidays” post. However, to echo the sentiment on Scott’s blog, Why must be all stick to this generic bullcrap? So nobody feels ‘left out’ or discriminated against? What are we primary school
Ah Crap, It’s almost 2010
So why is this a problem? Despite it being the year 2009, I’m still living like it’s 2000 (or partying like its 1999). When I hear 1990, I think it’s only 10 years ago, not 20. When I hear 1970, I think it is 30 years ago, not 40. WHEN I HEAR 1950, I THINK IT IS HALF A CENTURY (50 YEARS) AGO, NOT 60, EVEN THOUGH HALF A CENTURY SEEMS TO SOUND BIGGER.
So, over the next few days right now, I’ll bring you the best of the decade. I was intending to make a video with all the events that have happened to a modified version of “We Didn’t Start the Fire”, but this guy beat me to it, which saves me two days in time. Anyway, enjoy!
