Yet again I get lazy and forget to update the blog
Jan 18th
And yet again I will promise to add a lot of backdated posts, and then end up adding maybe one or two. Hope all 30 readers of all time are having a good year!
It’s Hip To Be…

Yet another gem from Google Suggest, however I don’t think it is good enough for Autocomplete Me.
Fail of the Week: Me! Also, I’m back.
Dec 19th
Surely you must have noticed my absence… especially since it was quite noticeable and prolonged (then again there have been year-long breaks with this blog, so its quite short in context).
Well, really it wasn’t that surprising, however I thought I’d keep it up for longer. The posts died out however after a recent holiday (which wasn’t for the whole time such that it isn’t an excuse) I have regained the energy to restart posting. So from now on, expect another patch of near-daily information spewing service!
Also expect some backdated posts which I intended to write but couldn’t be bothered to before (editing this post now, I’ve managed to add enough posts to give you the impression that nothing ever happened – however since I can’t think of a better “I’m resuming posting” page, this will remain).
And so you’re back, from outer space…
So yes, thanks to a combination of factors, and in a variety of ways, I’m back. However, I really don’t have anything blog-related that is exciting to add for you – however that’s mainly due to the whole thing being a blur. You might see something soon.
Fail of the Week: ReeMap
Nov 15th
Yes, this week I was able to give myself the title of “Fail of the Week”, only due to the fact I planned to show the “completed work” here instead and miss fail of the week until a few days later. Instead, the fact the maps aren’t completed make the “Fail of the Week” today. I think there are about 20 good, half-finished maps on my computer here, all of which I have made but given up on half way through due to the time and detail required to finish them. In no particular order, the following are the “unfinished” maps.
Some elements of the attached image may be copyright of Valve.
- The two “Haddaway” jails (named after the singer of What is Love for no particular reason)
- The new “T” jail (considering I never finished Haddaway, I can’t see how I thought I’d complete something else with so much more detail – maybe in the summer with all the other projects…)
- The “Pool Map”
- The “Disco” Map
- The “Office” Map
- The “Twin Towers” Map (although this is a mammoth task due to sheer size… and it’s not meant to be disrespectful, its just a set of twin towers, no reference is intended – it was merely designed to test some ideas)
- The “Escape” Map
- The “Hitler” Map (convientely swastika-shaped)
- The “Crap Map Rooms”
- The “Christmas” Map
And the list could go on, but you get the idea. There’s a sample of a couple of maps at the side, being Haddaway and the Pool. Even if I do finish the “T” jail, it will be in limited distribution due to low quality and large file size. While I’m here and on the topic of games, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, the latest game in the Call of Duty series, was recently released. If I had bought it myself, I would review it, but since I havent got it – should I get it? What do you think of it?
Fail of the Week
Nov 8th
This week’s fail of the week is the bin outside Centrelink Innaloo. Words cannot explain this, but a picture can. Seriously, why and what the f*ck? That’s the best thing you could think of? A bin? Surely there must be something more exciting to screw with. One thing is for sure, the bin missed the bus by drinking too much and having explosive farts. The fact it is outside of Centrelink also says a lot…
In other non-FAIL news, a whole bunch of crap will be coming online soon at Trisreed.com, such as maps, music, and all sort of crazy crap. Keep an eye out as you never know what you might see.
Finally, did you notice what this is? Yes, a post a day after another, which means that posts will be coming day after day, not just now and again.
Xbox 360: What’s the hype?
Mar 24th
So I ended up going down to the shops, but couldn’t see what all the fuss was about with the Xbox 360. The graphics are slightly better, but besides that I think it’s no different. Well, I’ll have to wait a few months for the PS3 to come out.

The XBOX 360 came out today. To me, it’s no big deal as I’m a PS3 buyer. Looks good compared to the current consoles, don’t see the big rush though. Gonna go and check it out at the shops later.

Hello, and welcome back. Being busy and lazy after the partying to bring in 2010, I haven’t posted anything till today (although you’ll see a few posts backdated soon). So what better way to start a new year, and a new decade, with a new style of post – a proper opinion piece. So, sit back, and enjoy the first post of 2010.
Over the new year, needing to contact myriad people due to wanting to wish them a happy new year alongside organising certain events, I realised how much of a ripoff now more than ever Australia’s mobile telecommunications system is. Calling it “Australia’s” system however is a bit of a misnomer – of the four major providers, only Telstra is majority Australian-owned (with SingTel Optus being owned by the Singaporean government, 3 by the Chinese and Vodaphone by the British).
